The Gloucester County NAACP will honor five minority students from Gloucester County High Schools including GCIT, with a $500.00 scholarship. We also hope to keep the tradition that was started in 2011 of awarding our scholarship recipients with laptops. Assisting our youth by giving them the tools and resources they need as they enter their next phase of education is paramount to us.
The Gloucester County NAACP stands firm in advancing our youth in education by supplying financial support through this scholarship endeavor. The honored recipients of this scholarship will be presented at our annual Juneteenth Celebration, on June 15, 2024, at Washington Lake Park, Washington Twp, NJ.
This 21st century has brought about challenges that will only be overcome through post-high school education. This is why the NAACP has been at the forefront of advancing this initiative to support local minority high school seniors in their pursuit of higher education.
